Disney World Part 2

Well it’s over. Am I sad? Of course I am. This was most defiantly the trip of a lifetime for me. I mean sure I’ve been to Disney World before but the experience is different every time you go depending on who you’re going with. So when you go with a gaggle of gays of course the trip is going to be - - - excuse my stereotype, but nothing less than fabulous! Five gay guys in the middle of the woods in a cabin besides being the plot for a really bad horror flick for the HERE! network you can imagine it was quite redonkulous.

For those of you who think Disney World is a place for kids and family you’re sorely mistaken. Our day began with a breakfast at Park Fare a turn of the century meal, complete with strawberry soup. Tigger, Pooh, Mary Poppins, The Mad Hatter and Alice came to kick off our week. Tigger had a thing for us though, he wanted kiss after kiss and hug after hug from us. Though, Van was more of the Mad Hatter’s taste, he wouldn’t leave our table until Logan and Van played croquet with him. (They were his human croquet balls!) If you’re going to the parks anytime soon start your week off at Park Fare, I promise you won’t let down. After that we ‘celebrated’ our friendships and we hit it hard! Our first day in the actual park we met up with Logan’s Ex-Boyfriend and played in the Magic Kingdom for fifteen hours straight. We didn’t leave that park until three in the morning! What does one do for fifteen hours in a theme park? Every single ride, show, and parade they have to offer. There is a parade called Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! where the characters come out on large presents and turn spokes of the park into a dance party. Since it was our first day it was our first exposure to the pixie dust and it took some coaxing to get us out into the streets shaking “tail feathers”, but once we did the professional photographers came over and began to snap photos of us left and right. We were the stars of the parade. (It may sound egotistical but it’s true.)

It was surprisingly slow for a July at Disney World, (Though slow at Disney World is 40,000 guests instead of 50,000) and the wait times were really low. Though, again this is going to make me sound egotistical but I charmed my way onto every ride through the backdoor entrances. I don’t know what it is I do but I just talk and people want to help me out! As much as I’d like to say it is my dashing good looks, who doesn’t like a gaggle of gays who are just happy to be alive? One of the highlights of the week was Logan asking a Jungle Cruise skipper if he knew his old co-worker, after saying he did Logan asked the girl for the Jungle Cruise skipper’s number and they started to text. (Pretty creeper huh? While he agreed, he actually ended up hanging out with us everyday on our vacation and I’m glad we made a new friend!) By the time the ten o’clock fireworks came we were dragging and our feet hurt like all get out but we pressed on and forced ourselves to keep going. How did we end the night? Riding Space Mountain five times in a row of course! Our first day was nothing short of magical.

Have A Magical Day,
